lisa Our TeamLisa Laverdure CEO, co-founder and managing partner of local5marketing.  Her focus is on assisting the small and medium size business owners find their marketing voice on the internet through local, mobile and social media.
She has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Ethics and Pastoral Counseling. These degrees have enhanced Lisa’s ability to listen, understand and create a consultative approach to assisting others to envision and realize their goals. Her creative marketing ideas come from a dynamic understanding of people, their motivations to consider change and take action. Her focus is on helping the consumer realize their values that are being offered and the benefits they will enjoy.
Lisa has proven marketing experience with non-profit programs for a number of years, in the forms of networking, public speaking, news letters, outreach, education and fund raising.
It has been said “Marketing is sales in content.” Her many years as a “paid by performance” sales consultant speaks to her creative certitude, ease and ability to guide the involved parties to the desired end – a win-win negotiation.
Working with entrepreneurs in B2B sales and as an entrepreneur herself, Lisa, has sought to create local5marketing to answer the marketing needs of small and medium size businesses with a trusted, proven web expert, friend and co-founder Dave Ellis. She has been a student of Tony Robbins, Michael Masterson, Laura Betterly of Yada Yada Marketing, Rich Schefren of Strategic Profits and the best teacher of all…life.

rentageek small Our TeamDavid Ellis, CTO, Co-Founder and self proclaimed “Chief Geek” is a serial entrepreneur and one of the first generation of web developers. He founded his first web development and computer consulting business, diceSYTE, in 1994, designing his first web sites before even major companies, such as Coca-Cola, had any kind of web presence. He was president of Co-Op Net, Inc., a local web hosting and development company specializing in providing services for non-profit organizations. He went on to be a co-founder at a network security company that had contracts with a number of financial institutions throughout New England, and designed one of the first Intrusion Prevention Systems designed to mitigate threats to a company’s network from hackers. After selling his interest in that company, he co-founded Rent-A-Geek Computer Experts, which specializes in providing computer support to individuals and small businesses throughout central New England. He later founded Northeast VoIP Networks, which provides next generation business communication systems, and is a Managed Services Provider, managing networks for small to mid sized businesses. He served as CIO for Paper Service Limited, a manufacturer of recycled tissue paper located in southwestern New Hampshire, for seven years, and as an instructor at the Hands On Computer Learning Center in Brattleboro, Vermont for three years until those businesses closed. Dave is a member of the HTML Writers Guild/International Webmasters Association – the first and largest association of internet developers, the Association of Internet Professionals, and the Microsoft Developers Network. He is an expert at Network & Systems Administration and Security, VoIP Telephony, POS Systems, Regulatory Compliance (i.e. HIPAA, Gramm-Leach-Bliley, etc.), and has been certified as a systems administrator, network administrator, Webmaster, and web administrator.
